Early arrival is suggested to allow use of nearby modern restroom facilities.

From East: Exit Rt. 422 at North Shore. Cross a small bridge. Turn right at the sign for McDanel's Launch.

From West: Exit Rt. 422 onto Rt. 19 S. Turn left onto the first road, Burnside Rd. At the T intersection turn left onto West Park Rd. Turn right at the second road into Moraine State Park, North Shore. Take an immediate right and then an immediate left into McDanel's Launch.

From North or South: Exit Rt. 79 into Portersville. Travel north on Rt. 19 through Portersville. After passing a large EAT sign on the right, turn right onto Burnside Rd. At the T intersection turn left onto West Park Rd. Turn right at the second road into Moraine State Park, North Shore. Take an immediate right and then an immediate left into McDanel's Launch.
