Barn Owl Program 

We are currently in the process of updating our Barn Owl pages to bring you the latest information about our telemetry and reintroduction programs. In the meantime, you can view further information about these projects from our friends at the Latodami Nature Center in North Park, Allegheny County, PA. Latodami served as one of the release sites for our telemetry owls. You can also view their live Owl Cam from the Latodami owl barn!

Our telemetry research was presented in the form of an illustrated poster (click for definition) at three major scientific conferences in 2006. Our poster won first place at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Conference in Tampa Bay, Florida. It was also presented at the 4th North American Ornithological Conference in Veracruz, Mexico and at the Society for Conservation GIS conference in San Jose, California.
